Rain - would have been so mundane and non-imaginative versus so~aked, as dripping with the goodness of heavily falling water.
I do like the color scheme in here a lot, the colors are clear & clean - the blue of course suggesting water and the splashes of red, orange and some yellow represent far lights washed away and blurred by the sheer water-wall.
Would i changed anything, if this was my composition - maybe ...
try to bring few more droplets more into front view making them smaller and crisper.
I did get 'soaked' in this one, in good way and I feel I can almost skip the shower lol.... great example of Apo abstraction Piet.
